Line of Exclusion and Camouflage Makers, Accused of No Crime: Japanese Incarceration in America, Reflect Space Gallery, Downtown Central Library, Glendale CA, 2018

Camouflage Makers: The installation consisted of an enlarged photograph by Dorothea Lange taken at the Internment camp at Manzanar, California. Japanese Americans imprisoned there made camouflage nets for the US military in violation of the Geneva Convention. The work was first created in 1993 for a dance performance by Yuki Shiroma and exhibited again in 2007 at the Icehouse in Phoenix. (See Camouflage Makers, 2007)
